Jean Bâtons mayonnaises and sauces are exceptional and of high quality. In the vegan version, egg has been replaced by plant-based ingredients. Legally, it may therefore not be called mayonnaise; instead, it is a sauce preparation.
About the manufacturer
The Dutchman Jan Stok worked as a cook on cruise ships for 10 years. As a garde-manger, he was responsible for all cold dishes such as appetizers, salads, and sauces. His French colleagues translated his name into French: "Jean Baton." This eventually became a brand under which creative and very high-quality mayonnaises and dressings are offered today. Production takes place in a small factory in Udenhout, Netherlands.
