Description Mochiko Mochi flour
Mochiko flour is made from Japanese glutinous rice. The products baked from it are slightly sticky and elastic. It is therefore suitable e.g. for Japanese sweets such as mochis or to make a mochi dough shell for mochi ice cream yourself.
Mochiko flour is gluten-free. It can also be mixed with other flour containing gluten to reduce the gluten content, or mixed with gluten-free alternatives.
Use
- For Japanese mochis
- For a batter for mochi ice cream
- For gluten-free pasta
- As a gluten-free thickener for sauces and soups
