This soy sauce is a Koikuchi-type dark soy sauce with garlic from the province of Aomori. The garlic is pickled in the soy sauce for 2 months. It is not cut or crushed, but inserted as a whole. This gives the soy sauce a mild garlic taste and smell.

This soy sauce shouldn't be used for cooking, but can be used as a finishing sauce. It combines well with savoury dishes such as:
