Magic Dust is a famous American spice blend developed specifically for grilling. It was invented by Mike Mills, a grill master from Illinois.
The spice blend contains a variety of ingredients that together provide a very complex taste experience: The smoked paprika adds smoky notes, mustard, pepper, and the spiciness of jalapeños, cumin (cumin) depth, sugar sweetness. When grilling, the sugar also caramelizes, adding caramel notes.
